App permissions

Allow notifications, camera, and location when you need those features.

Last updated 2026-08-08

Overview

HealthNaviq asks for permissions only when they unlock a feature: notifications for reminders, camera for capturing cards/labs, and location for nearby care search and outdoor workout GPS.

You can change permissions later in Settings (and in your phone’s system settings on iOS/Android).

Why use it

Granting the right permissions prevents “silent” reminder failures and blocked uploads.

Where to find it

How to

  1. 1
    Open Permissions

Finish onboarding into Permissions, or open Settings and review permission rows.

  2. 2
    Enable Notifications

Allow alerts for medications, appointments, and reminders. On native apps, you may be taken to notification settings.

  3. 3
    Enable Camera (optional)

Allow camera access if you plan to photograph insurance cards, prescriptions, or labels.

  4. 4
