Medication notification tips

Make sure dose reminders actually reach you.

Last updated 2026-08-08

Overview

Medication notifications depend on three layers: reminder schedule, HealthNaviq notification settings, and OS permission/battery rules.

If one layer blocks delivery, the alert will seem “broken” even when the medicine schedule is correct.

Why use it

Reliable dose alerts are often the highest-value notification type in the app.

Where to find it

How to

  1. 1
    Confirm the medicine schedule

Open the medicine and verify reminder times.

  2. 2
    Enable HealthNaviq notifications

Allow alerts in Settings → Notifications.

  3. 3
    Allow OS permission

Grant notification permission in browser or phone settings.

  4. 4
