Overview
If you help someone else in HealthNaviq, a few habits prevent mistakes: always verify the active profile, use your own login, and keep Emergency contacts current.
Your job is coordination and support. Clinical decisions still belong to licensed clinicians and the care recipient’s care team.
Why use it
Good caregiver hygiene reduces missed doses, wrong-profile logging, and panic during urgent moments.
Where to find it
How to
- 1Sign in as yourself
Never reuse the care recipient’s password. Redeem a family invite instead.
- 2Check the profile switcher
Before every med log or appointment edit, confirm the active profile name.
- 3Use reminders collaboratively
Agree who responds to medication reminders so alerts are not ignored by everyone.
- 4Keep Emergency updated
Verify SOS contacts and key notes after any change in caregivers or clinicians.
- 5Escalate real emergencies correctly
Call local emergency services first. HealthNaviq Emergency info is supportive context, not a dispatch service.
