1. Introduction

HealthNaviq ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using HealthNaviq, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile information, and any health records, medications, appointments, or notes you upload. We also collect information automatically, including device type, operating system, IP address, usage data, and cookies. With your explicit consent, we may collect health and fitness data from connected third-party services such as Google Health.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; to generate personalized health insights; to send reminders, notifications, and support messages; to ensure security and prevent fraud; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or health data to advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share your information only with your consent, with trusted service providers who assist in operating the Services under strict confidentiality agreements, or when required by law. We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you for research or analytics purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may access, update, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through the Services. You may also revoke consent for third-party data integrations, export your data, or close your account. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Third-Party Integrations

HealthNaviq may connect to third-party services (e.g., Google Health/Google Fit) to import health and fitness data. These integrations are governed by your explicit authorization and the privacy policies of those providers. We only request the minimum data necessary to provide the Services.

7a. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)

HealthNaviq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: (a) we only use Google Fit data to provide and improve user-facing health features inside HealthNaviq (e.g. showing your steps, heart rate, sleep, weight, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and blood glucose on your dashboard and in your personal trend reports); (b) we do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition/sale of assets with continued privacy protection; (c) we do not use this data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising; and (d) we do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific items, it is necessary for security purposes (e.g. investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and de-identified. You can revoke HealthNaviq's access to your Google account data at any time from Settings → Integrations, or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7b. Scopes We Request and Why

When you connect Google Health, we request only read-only Google Fit scopes, each tied to a specific in-app feature: fitness.activity.read (daily step count on dashboard), fitness.heart_rate.read (resting heart rate trend), fitness.body.read (weight log), fitness.blood_glucose.read (glucose log), and fitness.oxygen_saturation.read (SpO2 trend). We never request write scopes. Data is stored encrypted, scoped to your account by row-level security, and deleted within 30 days of disconnecting the integration or closing your account.

8. Children's Privacy

HealthNaviq is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact Us
